The Untold truth of the Modern World

Share what the Fox Says:

The world seems unfair at times doesn’t it?

When all around you people seem to be moving forward, when things seem to be progressing for everyone else and you alone are stuck in a rut. Your friends around you are getting promoted or moving up in their own way, while others seem to have such active social lives. And their love life seems so perfect to you. Everyone seems to have found their stride while you alone still stumble through life.

And to these issues you face I can but say one thing: How naive

How naive have you become to be so easily blinded by the pretend nature of this world? But come on, you’re smarter than that. Perhaps these untold truths will help:

The First Truth

The first truth you must understand is in this day and age you are not judging people through their lives but rather their Social media lives. Picture perfect versions of themselves on every profile. You see the new car they bought, the marathon they ran, the engagements, the parties, the vacations. And you are bombarded by victory stories on every feed. But the truth is no one speaks about their failures, or struggles here. And the result is you only see the final product. People with happy smiles often just for the sake of the camera. You don’t find the stories of those being fired from their jobs, or the bad break ups, or the unsure nature they feel when they make a decision.

The same uncertainty that plagues you, it plagues everyone. But sadly no one speaks of it.

The Second Truth

The second Truth that you already know from birth is a simple one. Life isn’t fair. It’s not meant to be and it never will be. The story arcs with definitive endings only exist in books and movies.  Life and reality keeps moving forward. You have seen the unfairness of life and you feel so powerless against it. If only you were born richer, more beautiful or more talented. And you see people who have what you covet and feel like they have it easy. And I’m not here to tell you they have their own set of unique problems that you don’t, you already know that. I’m here to say even if someone else’s life seems perfect to you: Just learn to accept it. Life isn’t fair. Understand it, accept it and move on.
