Sarcastic Movie Review: Wonder Woman

The rest of the supporting cast was fine but not very memorable and this extended to the villains as well. A few of them did border on racial stereotypes such as a drunken Irishman, but with no real harm.

Also includes a wise native american and a very white male protagonist

Wonder woman’s Heroes journey through a war torn Europe ticked all the boxes as seen in every other world war two film. These include but not limited to: Evil Nazi’s killing their own men, crying lady with a baby in her arms, wounded veterans and a soldier with PTSD. While all this was meant to add depth to Diana’s character growth, it did feel a bit forced at times.

The visuals were stunning in every way with the fight scenes sticking out in particular. Though the CGI mixed with slow motion and jump cuts did seem messy at times, it was nothing unexpected of a superhero movie. Also you get goosebumps every time her theme music played.

The final verdict is that Wonder Woman is not a movie to miss for DC fans and casual movie goers alike, and may finally be the beginning of a competent DCEU that we have all been waiting for.
