Anime is not lacking in the department of manly masculine men. Whether it be the stoic and silent type like Guts or shear overpowered mustachioed monsters like Escanor, anime fans are used to unrealistic expectations for men. But no one brings the unbelievable chad energy of Yujiro Hanma from Baki.

Now Yujiro Hanma is a villain, there’s no doubt about it. he takes the term toxic masculinity to another level. And no one is saying he’s someone to look up to, but damn has this man done some messed-up but respectable shit.

Don’t believe me here are five moments of shear chad-ness from Yujiro Hanma.

But first a bit on Yujiro Hanma. Yujiro Hanma is the father of the titular charterer Baki and is called as the strongest creature on earth. That’s right creature. He is also often called as the ‘Ogre’ and is considered a one man army, that basically does whatever the hell wants. And no one can stop him, because his strength overshadows that of entire nations.

Now on to the Chadness! 

Takes on the entire Prime Minister Security force

Let’s star of easy, and when I say easy I mean the time Yujiro took on the entire security force of the Prime Minister of Japan.

Now what makes this such a chad moment is not the fact that the security force was over a hundred men strong. It’s not the fact that these were all men with military training and armed to teeth. Or even the fact that he casually called up the prime minister’s office to tell him that he’ll come and beat the prime minister’s ass in an hour before heading there (Which is pretty Chad)

It’s the fact that the man took a smoke break in the middle of fighting a hundred men, so that they would have time to surround him!

He has Zero F’s to give!

And once he easily reaches the prime minister what does he do? Laughs at how shit the prime ministers security is, shakes his hand, beaks his table and leaves!

Ripped of a man’s face

The Great Raitai tournament is a fighting tournament held every hundred years in china composing of some of the best fighters in the world and the martial arts masters of china known as ‘Kaiou’.

And Yujiro Hanma decides to join the fun as well. Unluckily Yujiro is matched up against one of the strongest Kaiou in the tornamet, Ryu Kaiou.. that’s unlucky for Ryu Kaiou I mean.

Because immediately as the fight starts, Yujiro plunges his hand into Ryu’s head like a knife, and with more skills than a surgeon RIPS OFF HIS FACE.

At that moment Ryu Kaiou knew, he messed up!

He rips of the whole face of a top fighter creating a horrid skin mask, that Hannibal lector would say was a bit much!

To the Kaiou’s credit, he still tried to fight after that,(which bro, WHY?) at which point Yujiro quickly disposes of him with a swift kick to his now skinless face!

Stopped an earthquake by punching it

You guys know earthquakes right? Those natural disasters that bring death and destruction by the millions. Once when Baki was about to confront his dad for well…being the worst father a boy could ask for, they were interrupted by a random earthquake (lucky Baki)

The earthquake however annoyed Yujiro, who decided to take care of the problem the only way he knows how: Violence. He then proceeds to punch the earthquake with such force that it cancelled out the vibrations of the natural disaster.

That’s right Yujiro Hanma punched the earth so hard that the earth stopped shaking!

Creeping up on his son having Sex

Yujiro is definitely up there as one of the worst dad’s in the world. But in some deranged and messed up way he does care about Baki. It may only be so that Baki will one day be strong enough to give him a real fight…but it’s something.

Nowhere is it more apparent than when Baki is sharing a bed with his girl for the first time. And while he’s lying there nervously wondering if he should make a move, who does he see in the corner of his eyes standing there in the shadows?

That’s right his demon Dad, Yujiro Hanma. Now you might think that this is the ultimate cock block and Daddy dearest was here to prevent his son from ‘getting some’ and maybe give him a talk about the birds and bees and teenage pregnancies.
