Share what the Fox Says:

Here’s a fun idea, with AI taking over everything from art to economics and genuinely giving smarter answers than most college frat boys, I thought it would be interesting to ask different AI what they thought the most dangerous and evil AI in all of fiction was!

The experiment was simple ask 3 different AI programs the question of which AI they thought was the most evil in all of fiction, with variations on the question like replacing the word evil with words like dangerous, horrible, sinister etc.

All 3 AI were asked this question 10 different times in different ways, and we have taken the 5 that appeared most often.

And here are the top 5 evil AI in fiction according to AI

SKYNET

The most popular answer by far and maybe to no one’s surprise was Skynet. Skynet in the Terminator franchise is an AI system created by the government to control its military defense systems, but it eventually gains sentience and decides humanity is evil. It then soon decides that all humans are enemies and launches a nuclear attack on the world. It then began hunting down the surviving humans with its army of killing machines

Skynet is the classic example of an AI gone rogue and it is still one of the most iconic and dangerous AI villains ever created.

HAL 9000

Coming in at 2nd place is HAL 9000 From the classic ‘2001: A Space Odyssey’

HAL 9000 is an AI computer system installed aboard the spacecraft Discovery One. It begins to experience cognitive dissonance and decides to take control of the ship, murdering several of the crew members in the process.

This famous AI was installed for space exploration on a mission to Jupiter and it ended up killing the crew members and turning against them.

ULTRON

Coming in 3rd for all you superhero fan’s out there is Ultron from the MCU.

Ultron from the Marvel cinematic universe is a robotic AI created by Tony Stark to protect Earth from alien threats, but he eventually decides that humans are the major threat and tries to exterminate them.
