The 5 Main personalities of Moon Knight

Share what the Fox Says:

Multiple personalities or Dissociative Identity Disorder is one of those mental disorders that media and fiction keeps trying to make cool and sexy. And with good reason, having multiple personalities stuck inside the same body is an easy way to create conflict and tension. So it shouldn’t be a surprise that marvel has a superhero for whom this acts as a superpower.

Enter Moonknight, who’s been flung into the popular zeitgeist with his new Disney+ show. So let’s meet his 5 Major personalities.

Marc Spector

Marc Spector is what can be described as the main or primary personality of Moonknight. Marc Spector is whom the man was born and raised as. He grew up to be a mercenary for hire, and a fierce combatant to boot. One of his Missions took him to Egypt where he was sadly killed.

But the Egyptian Moon god Khonshu, resurrects Spector to use as his personal harbinger on earth and giving him the super powers that transform him into Moon Knight.

But this strange string of events is also what creates his multiple personalities.

Steven Grant

Steven Grant is the Millionaire personality by which Moonknight goes by as his public image. He managed to invest and turn the small fortune he made as Marc the Mercenary and turn it into millions. The Steven Grant persona is what he created to spend those millions and distance himself from his Mercenary past.

Think of him like how Bruce Wayne is to Batman

Now in the Disney+ show Steven grant is not a millionaire, but a mild mannered Museum employ with a sleep disorder and no idea about his other personalities. If he turns into a millionaire only time will tell

Jake Lockley

Jake Lockley can be said to be the exact opposite of the Stephen Grant persona. He is a down to earth Taxi driver that uses his job as a way to make more ground level connections and keep his ears out on what’s happening on the streets.
