5 Unbelievable Things Wolverine Has Ever Survived (that he shouldn’t have)

Share what the Fox Says:

Wolverine’s superpower isn’t just healing. It’s apparently having the world’s most aggressively unreasonable medical insurance. Over the years, Logan has been shot, stabbed, burned, dismembered, experimented on, and generally treated like Marvel’s favorite stress ball.

The funny thing is that most of these things should have killed him. Instead, Wolverine just gets back up, growls something Canadian, and starts stabbing whoever caused the problem.

Here are five of the dumbest…I mean, Unbelievable things Wolverine has somehow survived.

Being Burned Down to Almost Nothing

Wolverine has been burned so badly that there was barely anything left of him.

For most living creatures, this would be the point where the story ends and the credits roll. Wolverine’s healing factor, however, apparently looked at the situation and said: Nah!

Even when Logan is reduced to little more than bones, his body can begin rebuilding itself.

It’s one of those powers that sounds amazing until you think about what it actually means. Wolverine doesn’t simply avoid horrible injuries. Sometimes he survives them and then has to grow an entirely new body afterward.

Having the Adamantium Ripped Out of his body

Having adamantium bonded to your skeleton sounds painful enough. Having it forcibly removed sounds considerably worse.

Wolverine has endured exactly that nightmare, leaving him severely weakened and in tremendous pain. The whole experience is one of the nastiest moments in Wolverine’s history because it demonstrates just how much punishment Logan can actually endure.

Any guesses on who could do such a thing to his Metal skeleton.

Maybe if your greatest superpower is having metal bones maybe don’t make your whole life about fighting a guy called Magneto

Getting His Entire Body Blown Apart

Wolverine has been subjected to injuries that would leave an ordinary human needing significantly more than a first-aid kit.

His healing factor has allowed him to recover from having huge portions of his body destroyed, leaving him looking less like a superhero and more like something that belongs in a biology textbook titled “Things That Should Not Still Be Alive.”

The remarkable part isn’t just that he survives. It’s that he eventually gets back into the fight.

Most superheroes would spend weeks recovering after a major battle. Wolverine can apparently lose several important pieces of himself and still be ready for the sequel.
