5 Movies to watch If you were disappointed by Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny

So the latest Indiana Jones Movie was disappointing. Indian Jones and the Dial of Destiny, is not a bad film in any way but it’s just…meh. Which some might argue is worse. The Indian Jones series is all about that sense of adventure and a swashbuckling protagonist fighting against the odds and casually killing people with a cheeky smile.

And somehow Indian Jones and the Dial of Destiny just doesn’t capture that essence. So Instead of writing a review for the movie, Here are 5 other Movie franchises that capture the feel of an “Indie Film” better than the latest one.

So if you’re a fan of the adventurous spirit and thrilling quests of Indiana Jones, you might enjoy these five movies that capture a similar sense of adventure, mystery, and exploration:

The Mummy (1999):

“The Mummy” combines action, adventure, and supernatural elements in a story that follows adventurer Rick O’Connell as he battles against ancient curses and vengeful mummies. The film features thrilling chase sequences, treasure hunts, and a dash of humour, reminiscent of the Indiana Jones series.

The whole Mummy franchise exudes the same high stakes adventure spirit the Indiana Jones movies do and Brendan Frasers charm is very reminiscent  of that of Harrison Fords.

National Treasure (2004):

“National Treasure” follows historian and treasure hunter Ben Gates as he unravels clues and hunts for hidden treasures tied to American history. This adventure film combines historical mysteries, thrilling heists, and riddles to solve, all while being pursued by antagonists. It captures the excitement and puzzle-solving aspects found in Indiana Jones movies.

Also Ben gates is played by Nicholas Cage, who just does not have a middle ground when it comes to good and bad flicks. And this is definitely one of his best works.

Romancing the Stone (1984):
