5 Anime Schools That Would Absolutely Get Sued in Real Life

Anime has taught us many important lessons: The power of Friendship. Never pick a fight with a suspiciously jacked old man. Screaming loudly can amplify your strength. Etc.

It has also taught us that anime schools have absolutely no regard for safety regulations What so ever.

While normal schools worry about exams, bullying, and students sneaking phones into class, anime schools are out here sending teenagers into supernatural war zones, gambling away their futures, and occasionally trying to assassinate their own teacher.

Here are five anime schools that probably need a visit from the Education Department and maybe even the military.

Jujutsu High (Jujutsu Kaisen)

Most schools have fire drills. Jujutsu High has “What if a horrifying supernatural creature eats everyone?” drills, except the drills aren’t drills.

Students are trained to fight Curses, which is already a questionable career choice for adults. The problem is that many of these students are teenagers. Imagine being 16 and your guidance counselor’s advice is basically, “Have you considered putting your life on the line against an ancient demon?”

Students are regularly sent on missions where death is a very real possibility. And unlike normal school field trips, there isn’t always a guarantee that everyone comes back.

Jujutsu High isn’t preparing students for college. It’s preparing them for an extremely aggressive battle with demonic curses.

U.A. High School (My Hero Academia)

U.A. is supposed to be one of the world’s premier schools for training superheroes. Which sounds great until you remember that the students are constantly being attacked by actual super-villains.

The school has security systems, combat training, evacuation procedures and some of the strongest heroes on Earth working there. And somehow villains still keep showing up like they’re just dropping off a forgotten lunchbox.

The students are also regularly involved in combat exercises involving incredibly destructive superpowers. Normal teenagers get detention for running in the hallway. U.A. students accidentally destroy half the hallway while learning how to punch bad guys.

Then there’s the Sports Festival, where students essentially fight each other in front of thousands of spectators. It’s less high school and more the Olympics if every contestant had a loaded weapon attached to their body.
